18 October 1899—Tibor was the son of Izsák Izidor Balázs (Israelite, occupation: engineer, born in Liverpool, England, age 32) and Margit Éliás (Israelite, lived at her husband’s residence, born in Vágujhely, Nyitra county, age 19). Their residence was Wesselényi street 46, in district VII of Budapest.

17 September 1918 — Tibor attends the Király József University to study engineering.

17 October 1924 — Tibor obtaines degrees in electrical and mechanical engineering.

9 January 1930 — Tibor marries my mother, Margit. Their wedding photo reflects a residential location for what might have been a small civil ceremony. She was 25 years old, and he was 30. They lived in a sublet at István Street 29 in Budapest.

4 Sep 1931 — Moritz Ebenspanger, Tibor’s father-in-law, dies in Budapest. He was 66 years old.

1 December 1934 — Izsák Izidor Balázs, Tibor’s father dies in Budapest.

1936 — Tibor and Margit live together at Kossuth Lajos Street 17 with his sister-in-law Lily Ébenspanger and his mother-in-law Regina G. Ébenspanger

14 July 1938 — A daughter, Anna-Mária, is born to Margit and Tibor.

4 October 1944 — Baptized at the “Terézvárosi Szent Teréz Plébánia” took name Mária
